Requirements for my device
To use the simpleclub app and all simpleclub services, you need to meet the following requirements:
Mobile:
Supported app versions
We support app versions for a maximum of 6 months, but you'll get the best experience on the latest app version.
Android:
Version 11 or higher (We support Android versions 7.0 - 10 on a best-effort basis)
Android with access to the Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery / Google Mobile Services or Huawei Mobile Services
iOS:
Version 17 or higher (We support iOS version 16 on a best-effort basis)
Web:
Supported browsers:
Chrome (mobile & desktop)
Safari (mobile & desktop)
Edge (mobile & desktop)
Firefox (desktop)
Supported browser versions:
Versions of supported browsers no older than 1 year
JavaScript and cookies must be enabled
⚠️ Internet Explorer is not supported.
Other requirements:
An active internet connection
Network access to Google Cloud services or other third-party services we use.
A current list of our service providers can be requested from our support team or your personal account manager.
(Firewall settings may need to be adjusted)
Video streaming requirements
The minimum speed for watching learning videos in standard definition is 0.7 Mbit/s.
However, a faster connection is recommended for better picture quality.
To stream HD content (by definition, a resolution of at least 720p), a download speed of at least 5.0 Mbit/s is recommended.
Note: simpleclub reserves the right to raise the minimum requirements for using the app at any time for functionality and performance reasons. However, simpleclub will always give customers reasonable advance notice if using the platform with certain hardware and software (e.g., versions of iOS, Android and/or browser versions of Firefox, Chrome and Edge from the past year) is no longer possible or will no longer be possible in the future.
